The Persecution in Netherlands today arrested one of the hunted down genocide suspects known as Jean Baptiste Mugimba. After his arrest, he will be extradited in Rwanda to face charges he is accused including being the planner of the killings against the Tutsi in Nyakabanda, in Kigali City.
Mugisha has been the executive secretary of the CDR, a political party that is known to have massacred the Tutsi in 1994. He was the one who listed the Tutsis to be killed in the neighborhood.
Last year, the Migration Office in the Netherlands refused the visa to this man after finding out the key factors to persecute him as a genocide suspects.
The persecution searched for additional factors that allow a court appeal. The Ministry of justice of Netherlands says that Mugimba will be extradited to Rwanda in the nearly coming days.
It is in Rwanda that the crimes have been committed by the suspect, thus he will be sent in the country where he committed the crimes and where witnesses live, the Ministry’s release stipulates.
Different nations in Europe are currently trying different suspects who have been found guilty for their involvement into genocide.
