Kamonyi : A policeman shot to death two soldiers

Yesterday evening hours a policeman has shot to death two soldiers who,according to him, angered him. One of the soldiers died immediately while the the other one died  he was undergoing medical treatments at Rwanda Military Hospital at Kanombe.

News from Musambira say that the policeman was at his post keeping  the security at the time and two soldiers reached him there. After some quarrels, the policeman went angry and shot them to death.

A local dweller informed UM– USEKE that the policeman was serving a security keeper at the headquarters of COCOF, a local advisory women council (Conseil Consultatif des Femmes de Musambira).

The policeman was arrested and sheltered at the Musambira Police station.

The Executive Secretary of the Musambira Sector Kayirangwa Emmanuel conformed the news but did not provide details about it as further Police investigation continues.

UM– USEKE asked the Spokesperson of Police in the South province, Chief Supt Hubert Gashagaza but he said that he was attending a meeting at that time.
