Late in the past night, a firebreak happened in one of the locals of the Nyarubaka sector in Kigusa cell, Kamonyi district, South Province.
Both parents fled away leaving the babe of thee months of age behind. Returning back to save the babe, they found him/her dead.
The executive secretary of the Nyarubaka sector Epimaque Munyakazi told Umuseke that the firebreak would have been caused by a petroleum using lamp that they seemingly did not switch off and might have caused the fire to erupt.
A part from the dead babe, none else was harmed by the deadly incident.
Last year another dead firebreak happened in a household in Gitwe area, Ruhango district and attacked the babe who was sleeping but he was taken out without any harm.
