The Rwanda National Police has arrested an Indian man named Annish Shany for the rape he allegedly committed against a minor. The arrest took place in Kigali, Gasabo district, this morning.
The RNP was accompanied by some of the staff members of the CLADHO(a local human rights organization) in charge of the protection of the rights of the child.
Our reporter was in place to record all the proceedings.
Annish Shany worked as Master Chef in one of the hotels in the neighborhoods.
Police officers entered the hotel and presented the arrest mandate to the suspect, namely Annish before handcuffing him and took him to one of the local police stations.
Annish is seemingly in his fourths and is accused of having raped a 16 years old young girl.
Information said that Annish met with the young girl in a night club after being connected by an older girl.
RNP searches the later to be arrested and bring her to prosecution.
