Kigali Investment Company buys the UTC on auction

The UTC building is sold on auction and is bought by the Kigali Investment Company with over 6 billion Rwandan francs.

The Union Trade Center was a property of businessman Tribert Rujugiro. It is bought for over 6.6 billion Frw by the Kigali Investment Company Ltd.

Eleven people from different institutions attended the auction session that lasted over six hours.

Lawyer Vedaste Habimana was the chairing person during the auction.

After many hours of discussion, the Kigali Investment Grp won the race and bought the infrastructure for 6,877, 150,000. Frw

Kigali Investment Company Ltd features different investors operating in Kigali and are said the ones who built the modern market of Nyarugenge.

The completion of construction of the Union Trade Center was worthy of 20 million $.
