This yearly religious ceremony took place this Sunday in Kigali, Amahoro National Stadium. One of the pastors present at the ceremony tanked God because he was set free after being sentenced to death penalty due to the previously alleged participation in the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi.
Past Ugirimbabazi told the crowd that after the RPF -Inkotanyi took power, he was captured being suspected of having participated into the genocide against the Tutsi but, afterwards, he was released.
He was judged by the courts and was found innocent and released afterwards.
As the ceremony went on, different participants tanked God for the love and support the Almighty has blessed Rwanda with.
Among the points of interests different panelists highlighted included a remarkable economic advancement Rwanda has achieved so far.
The justice and security have made Rwandans free people and willing to live comfortably in God-given motherland, they said.
However Apostle Paul Gitwaza reminded attendees that the hardly achieved security assets should be safeguarded by all Rwandan inhabitants as to make long lasting with the helping hand of the Almighty God.
The ceremony was attended by four ministers from the government and the guest of honor was Venantie Tugireyezu who is the Minister in the Presidency. She expressed the government’s support towards that yearly initiative to play for the nation’ blessings.
The yesterday’s ceremony was not as much attended as the previous ones.
