According to the information reaching Umuseke, Dr Valens Habimana has resigned from his duties and thereafter left the country. The news claim that he fled due to his alleged mismanagement of the hospital’s funds.
The news claim that he informed the Ministry of health that he resigned after arriving in the ‘exile’.
He was leading the Kinazi hospital that is ranking among the most innovated ones in Rwanda since its inauguration in 2013.
The Mayor of Ruhango district where the district is located told Umuseke that they heard about his fleeing.
He, however, didn’t provide detailed information on the issue. Umuseke keeps searching more information about the circumstances that led Dr Habimana to resign and go into exile.
