The ADEPR spiritual leaders and the youth from the church visited the Kigali memorial site at Gisozi. The visit was one of the activities that ADEPR is committed to fulfill during its one week religious retreat.
During the retreat, the participants will learn more from the Rwandan spirit philosophy and self-reliance as to strengthen the brotherhood among Rwandans at large.
The youth from the ADEPR will also pay a medical insurance to 300 people from the three districts of Kigali highlighted above.
The Executive secretary of the ADEPR, Rev. Pastor Mutaganzwa Viateur, told the youth that the first role of the Rwandan youth is to enlighten the nation both in present and in the future of the nation.
He told them that the Genocide took lives of their young of their ages, reminding them that the time has come for them to fight against all that can bring upon divisive and discriminatory ideologies.
The legal representative of the ADEPR, Rev Pastor Jean Sibomana urged the youth to be exemplary citizens who will make Rwanda a wonderful nation in the world.
The ADEPR is a Christian based church that normally provides its adherents with work and spiritual support from the Holy Bible. It has program to help illiterate adherents to learn who to write, read and about the numeracy.
It also advises the youth to depart from the use and abuse of harmful drugs.
The one week retreat of the ADEPR elements was launched at the ADEPR building located at Gisozi.
