Yesterday evening leaders gathered into the Unity Club met to discuss on projects to implement in the coming seven years. Among the projects is one of establishing a leadership school.
The Club has welcomed other new 18 members who have recently been appointed in different government positions.
The Deputy President of the Unity Club Dr Monique Nsanzabaganwa told reporters that the aim of this gathering is to celebrate the achievements in the past 21 years and establish a roadmap for projects to implement in the coming seven years(2017-2024).
The roadmap is cemented on ideas fetched from various people and aims at strengthening unity and reconciliation among Rwandans.
Dr Nsanzabaganwa revealed that there is an idea on how the club can establish a school for leadership
She did not provide details on how the school will be operating and which curriculum will be applied.
The school’s operations will be set up by different entities, Dr Nsanzabaganwa underlined.
The First Lady Jeanette Kagame who chairs the Unity Club told members that time has come to strengthen institutions and back officials in achieving more in varying national endeavors.
She urged women to be more involved into policies that target national development in different aspects.
Jeanette Kagame urged the Unity Club members to assess how the 2017-2024 roadmap for the coming seven years can be fully established and implemented.
Throughout the past 21 years, the Unity Club has played significant role in cementing and strengthening unity and peaceful livelihoods among Rwandans.
