Lupita Nyong’o gets mixed reviews for her feathered Prada dress

She is one of the most talked-about new talents in Hollywood. And Lupita Nyong’o certainly kept people talking as she arrived at the Met Gala on Monday in one of the most daring ensembles on the red carpet.

The 1920s style flapper look certainly appeared to split critics alike on Twitter, with Vogue tweeting that the actress ‘can do no wrong’ while many users replied ‘yes she can’.

While Grazia Magazine asked their followers to ‘discuss’ the outfit with one follower tweeting back that she ‘looks like an extra from Lost’.

Since winning her Best Supporting Actress award at this year’s Oscars, Lupita’s next move on screen has been highly anticipated.

It was recently reported that she and Scarlett Johansson are in talks to star in The Jungle Book.

Kaa is one of the film’s main villains along with Shere Khan, a man-eating tiger voiced by ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ star Elba.

The Jungle Book script comes from Justin Marks, whose previous credits include Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.

The movie is expected to be live action while also utilising CGI.

Johansson already has a strong relationship with Disney, starring in several Marvel movies including recently released blockbuster, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

She is currently filming The Avengers: Age of Ultron, reprising her role as Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow.

Meanwhile, a role in The Jungle Book would mark Nyong’o’s first new project since winning an Oscar in March.
