Yesterday the Pakistani Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousefzai has arrived in Kigali to conduct various trips in refugee camps and other centers intended to back girls both in education also otherwise.
At her arrival at the Airport, she was welcomed by Rwandan Minister in charge of refugee affairs and disaster management Seraphine Mukantabana who accompanied as she headed to the President office to meet HE Paul Kagame.
Malala is in Rwanda after having visited the Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya where she celebrated her birthday.
She is accompanied by 15 people including her father and other Malala Found staff members.
This 19 years old Nobel Prize winner has been severely shot by Taliban militants who wanted to silence her as she was striving for girls education.
Her courage and commitment for the cause won an international reputation and she was decorated as the 2014 Peace Nobel Price Winner.
Today her trip will take her to Mahama refugee camp where she will meet with Burundian girls who are in unfriendly living and learning conditions.
