The 42 years old, Uwimana Philomene from Rulindo district, Northern Province of Rwanda yesterday has been found dead in a given house. Injures show that the she was killed with a machete but the killers are still unidentified.
News says that she was assaulted by her killers when she came from celebrating the Mary The Holy Mother’s Ascending to Heaven on Monday.
The living alone wife with a singer child is reported to have been killed on Monday but his child discover her dead body in a house as he entered to greet her.
Signs of death show that she was massacred with a machete by people to identify as criminal investigation continues.
The son of late Uwimana who is 25 years old found her mother was wearing the same garments she wore Monday when she went for the celebration shown above.
Eugene Birahira who is the Executive Secretary of Masoro sector told Umuseke.rw the victim was living in the sector he manages, adding that suspect killers are in run and more coordinated efforts are in process to arrest them.
He added that late Phelomene was a single lady whose husband has divorced with her and she remained with her son.
Birahira revealed that there were no known quarrels reported between the former spouses that are likely to be part of the roots of her death.
The dead body of late Uwimana is resting in Rutongo Hospital, Rulindo district.
