Yesterday in Kigali the Minister of education Dr Eugene Mutimura in collaboration with the University of Rwanda and the World Bank have inaugurated a new learning complex comprised of various rooms to help architecture students learn effectively and with comfort. Its completion is estimated to be 4 billion Frw worthy.
The construction of this complex started in June, 2016. The construction design of this complex features former antiquity Egyptian pyramids but its builders claim that its particular designs highlight the thousand hills of Rwandan geography.
It has offices for lectures, learning rooms for architecture, among other important ones. It is hoped for these rooms to last for a century.
University students in the Faculty of Architecture and Environmental Design (FAED) in the University of Rwanda are the ones to benefit from this new infrastructure.
The Rector of the University of Rwanda Prof. Philip Cotton told students to take that complex in haigh esteem and use its facility wisely as to maximize the outcomes.
The construction project was sponsored by the African development Bank.
