She was closing the international symposium on peace, security and justice, Rwandan Minister of foreign affairs has called upon the international community to combine efforts and cooperate as to fight against crimes, civil wars and other challenges facing the world.
This international symposium took place at the its third time and assessed issues related to terrorism, cyber -related crimes, human trafficking, among other issues.
Minister Mushikiwabo said that this century should be a good moment for the world to collectively work to eradicate all causes that historically have nurtured crimes and insecurity worldwide.
Even though this is a historical fact, Mushikiwabo said that world leaders should combine efforts to fight against the above mentioned issues that threaten world peace.
The symposium was attended by security officials from 10 countries including the Interpol.
Minister Mushikiwabo said that for security keepers to maintain their respective countries safe, information sharing is a key.
This will help in reshaping laws to pursue suspects, try them and sentence them accordingly.
She thanked the ones who provided the lessons to participants and called upon the beneficiaries to apply the skilled gained.
