Anyone entering Rwanda who have been to the United States or Spain during the last 22 days are now required to report their medical condition everyday by dialing 114 between 7am and 8pm for the duration of their stay in Rwanda (if less than 21 days) or for the first 21 days of their stay.
This is regardless of whether or not there are experiencing Ebola-like symptoms.
The Ministry of Health announced this new procedure on October 19 following recent cases of the deadly disease in both countries.
Rwanda continues to deny entry to visitors who traveled to Guinea, Liberia, Senegal, or Sierra Leone within the past 22 days.
