Ministry of infrastructures ready to build a Nyanza-East Province road

The Minister of infrastructures James Musoni promised to Nyanza locals that the Ministry planned to build a modern road that will join Nyanza and the Eastern Province so to facilitate trade and communication.

He said that during the inauguration event of many local roads installed in Nyanza city, roads that are 5.8 km long.

 Min Musoni expressed his concerns regarding some district officials who don’t invest the budget allocated by the government in building infrastructures useful to the locals.

Every year, each district is allocated with between 10 billion Rwandan Franc and 13 billion Rwf , but some of them do utilize that amount on infrastructures, something that hinders locals from accelerating their welfare.

However, Min Musoni lauded Nyanza district officials for their performance in infrastructures’ installation.  This has qualified Nyanza as the best performer in this area.

It is for this very reason that the Ministry of infrastructures decided to build Nyanza-East Province road.

Normally, South Province and Eastern one are communicating through an ordinary road that passes over the Rwabusoro Bridge and Ngoma via Rukumberi
The Rwabusoro bridge has collapsed into water for seven months ago and nothing is done to re-establish it to its former normal state.

Residents of Nyanza city commend the installation of roads as it reduced the dusty state, thus increasing its cleanliness.

The Mayor of Nyanza District, Abdallah Murenzi informed Minister of infrastructures and the audience the district’s commitment to build roads as the first priority and this has been done in respect to the urbanization plan.

Three billion Rwandan francs were invested into modern road building in Nyanza and the Ministry of infrastructures does allocate an amount of 30 billion Rwf to road building countrywide.
