REMERA: The Rwanda media self regulation body heard from Miss Sandra Teta who accuses the Igihe.com to have published defaming news upon her personality.
The model indicated that the Igihe.com( an online news website) should pay her with 40 million Rwf but the media house representative agreed the misconduct and vowed to rectify it with through writing another article.
Sandra Teta accused igihe.com to have intentionally tarnished her image through the news published on her behalf and she added that the situation showed how unprofessional this has been.
Both RMC and Igihe.com management, the writing of another article contradicting the former one is the best solution to take but the model wants the media house to pay a fee of 40 million Rwf.
This fee is due to the fact that the article undermined her image and business.
The court’s decision will be made public the coming Tuesday.
