President Paul Kagame who is currently attending the COP 22 Summit conducted private talks with His Majesty King of Morocco Muhammad VI.
President Paul Kagame alongside First Lady Jeannette Kagame arrived in Marrakech yesterday to attend this international conference on climate change labeled COP 22.
Participants are expected to exchange on how the treaties embedded into the COP 22 can be implemented so as to reduce the CO2 emission that cause the global warming and related calamities.
The Summit will also learn how better reluctant countries to implement the COP 22 agreements can be put under ‘severe measures ‘
The outgoing UN chief Ban Ki Moon told media that the severe consequences of the global warming are befalling everyone in varying manners.
He therefore called upon leaders attending the COP 22 to revise their policies as to reduce the harmful gas emission and therefore avoid deadly calamities to their respective nations.
In his inaugural speech, King Muhammad VI welcomed the participants. He added that his kingdom is willing and able of setting up and implementing effective policies for weather and climate protection.
