Early this morning in Musanze district, a policeman whose name is not yet disclosed has shot dead his commander and others who saw the scene shot him back and killed him.
The late Police commander was ranked the Chief Inspector of Police(CIP) who was the chief commander of Busogo Police Station in Musanze, in Northern Province of Rwanda.
News coming from Musanze say that the shooter went to hide in a house and the rest of policemen who hunted him used gunfire to open the door thus loud gunfire.
Our sources say that the shooter had a rank of AIP (Assistant Inspector of Police).
An emergent general meeting between security officers and locals was held to assure locals about the incident and calm the situation among resident after the shooting was heard.
