Musanze-The beast that threatened people’s lives killed

One of the three beasts that injured seventh persons in Kimonyi, Muhoza, Cyuve, Muhoza and Gashaki sectors  in Musanze District have been killed yesterday. Local people say that the beast was unknown in the area.

Nsengiyumva Jean Bosco, an expert in charge of animal care in Musanze told UM– USEKE that local dwellers saw the animal eating a small beast it killed and came to kill it with traditional weapons.

While they were killing the animal, two more animals of the same kind ran away. The crowd brought the dead animal to authorities and is eager to hunt down the rest of the animals.

We are going hunt them down using traps and killed them. I tell people to be careful during the tracking of the animals, he warns people.
