Musanze: Two Executive Secretaries arrested for alleged cooperation with the FDLR.

 This Tuesday, 15,  April, 2014, two executive secretaries from Musanze District were arrested, suspected to back the  FDLR militias in their aims of destabilizing the  national security.

Those officials include Nduwayezu JMV from the Gashaki Sector, and Ndahiro Amiel   of Muko Sector in the Musanze district. Both are accused to be part of a terrorist network that aims destabilizing the national security.

 News says that more other officials were arrested for further investigation related to  the case.

The Mayor of the Musanze District, Winfrida Mpembyemungu   does not deny nor affirm the information.

She told Umuryango.com to ask Police, adding that it is the institution that is responsible of providing security related information.

The Spokesperson of the National Police, ACP Gatare told the media to search the  information from the Police spokesperson in the Northern Province.

Another executive secretary of the Cyuve Sector, Alfred Nsengimana, has been arrested too. He is also accused to be accomplice of the grenade attackers in the District.

One of the persons who know the background of the Ndahiro Amiel, the Executive Secretary of the Muko told Umuryango online media that Ndahiro was one of the combatants of the former Abacengezi   combatants who destabilized the northern part of Rwanda earlier.

According to Umuryango.com the suspects have a close link with the throwing of grenades in the Musanze district. In the district, armed attacks were conducted and have killed one of the children of Mayor Mpembyemungu,on January, 6, 2014.

There have also another armed attack that killed a policeman on December, 19, 2013.

On ,February, 06, 2014, a grenade attack that blasted in the neighboring  area of the Police training school on Musanze injured six persons.
