Umuseke.IT Ltd has initiated a project aimed at promoting football player of the month that fans elected as the best performer of the Month.
The Rayon Sports’ winger Nahimana Shasir was elected by UM– USEKE website readers as the best player of October. The initiative is entitled to take place every month. The election took place during a period in which the AZAM Rwanda Premium League is ongoing.
Umuseke IT Ltd aims at backing the skills of the chosen player and promoting the sporting spirit between players and fans.
The October’s trophy was handed to Rayon Sports coach who will take it up to player Shasir once back home as he was travelling in his motherland.
Shasir Nahimana’s trophy was brought to his teammates today at Stade de l’Amitie located at Mumena , Nyamirambo district, Nyarugenge district.
The player was also given an envelope of money as recognition of his devoted spirit and skills shown during this ongoing AZAM Rwanda Premium League.
The UM– USEKE.RW IT Ltd selected a team of football experts to help in choosing the best player to award.
The team features three coaches, journalists and veteran fans who vote through Umuseke.rw.
Shasir Nahimana had 71,7% of all votes, Muhajiri Hakizimana from APR FC came next with 16,7%, Alex Orotomal from Sunrise FC had 8,6%.while the defender from Gicumbi named Rutayisire Egide came last with 3%.
Votes were calculated via the polling gadget made available at Umuseke.rw website.
1233 people voted (making 60%) through the polling gadget, readers’s comments were numbered at 106(making 10% of all votes).
Technicians’ votes represent 30% of all votes.
Readers’ comments voted Shasir with 974 votes, while technicians who voted him were four.
He generally had 71.7% of all votes. The AZAM Rwanda Premier League is willing to award the best player of the football season.
Denis Gacinya who is the manager of the Rayon Sports told Umuseke that the initiative is good and far reaching as it will increase players’ spirits and football fans at large.
He urged UM– USEKE.IT Ltd to keep the initiative operational and lasting.
The Rayon Sports coach Masudi said that his boy is worthy to be named the best player of the month as he has shown skills and discipline throughout the ongoing season.
