The Rwandan football team will play a friendly match with the Gabonese team that will help it to get prepared for the match with the Congo Brazza team scheduled to take place on 19-20 July, this year. Some of the players did not appear in the training that took place yesterday.
The coach has expressed his willingness to train all his team members and start earlier so that the team might be prepared earlier for the match with the Congolese team.
In the evening’s training session, some of his key players were not present. Those include defender Salomon Nirisarike and striker Daddy Birori.
Nirisarike will not play the friendly match with Gabon as he is negotiating with Europe based football teams willing to recruit him.
At his side, Daddy Birori has arrived in Rwanda, coming from his motherland DRC. The yesterday training session was warmly attended and players were cooperative with the coach Phillip Constantine.
Coach Constantine taught the defenders how to increase the defending techniques needed for the victory against the Congolese team.
The striker Iranzi Jean Claude has shown that his physical conditions have improved after suffering a severe leg fracture.
Throughout the training, both Sina Jerome and Ndahinduka Michel nicknamed Bugesera have shown strength and commitment that are good signs for a better performance in the upcoming matches with both Gabon and Congo Brazza football teams.
The coach of the Amavubi football Philip Constantine commended how the players are performing in the training and affirmed his hope for the victory in the coming matches.
He said that more efforts should be provided due to the nature of the matches ahead. The first match between both Rwanda and Congo -Brazza will take place in Congo, one week ahead.
The team that will win over the other between Congo Brazza and Rwanda will be grouped in the selected groups to compete for the African Nations Cup scheduled to take place in 2015 in Morocco.
The winning team between Rwanda or Congo will be grouped into Group A that already includes South Africa, Sudan and Nigeria.
