He headed a Mai-Mai military section that was nicknamed Morgan. Paul Sadala nicknamed Morgan was killed when he was travelling in the Northern- Western part of the DRC. The DRC army killed him when he attempted to escape.
The spokesperson of the FARDC army in the Eastern part of the DRC, Lt Col Jean-Claude Kifwa told the AFP that Morgan died due to bleeding after being heavy injured by bullets.
When he wanted to escape, there happened shotting between his troops and our soldiers. He was seriously injured by bullets ai the bullletes and he succumbed due to bleeding, Lt Col Kifwa told the AFP.
He added that the Morgan passed away in the MONUSCO aircraft that was bringing him to hospital.
Meanwhile, the MONUSCO officials did not react to this news.
The Spokesperson of the FARDC said that DRC soldiers killed seven militias while two soldiers from the regular army were injured.
He said that the captured 30 militias.The fighting took place in the Molokayi, a region that nears the Epulu Park. In 2012, the Sadala militias killed ten parker guards.
Many negative forces are operating in the Eastern part of the DRC. December last year, the FARDC and MONUSCO armed forces defeated the M23 rebels. Since then, both armies swore to disarm all the forces operating in Eastern DRC.
