Nyamasheke: A man caught stealing and his arm was cut off by a machete

The incident happened  in Ntendezi cell, Ruharambuga sector where a 25 years old man was caught stealing in someone’s field and his arm was cut off by a the owner of the field. Some of his neighbors told Umuseke that the owner of the field cried out for the help as he found there were some people who stole his crops in the field.

The witnesses say the wounded person was found lying besides a pack full of crops she said to have stolen and he was crying very loud and painfully.

The executive secretary of the Ruharambuha Jean Claude Ndindayino sector reminded the residents that suspect stealers are meant to be brought to justice instead of being punished by the third people.

He mentioned that this kind of behavior result in fleeing justice or being jailed once found guilty.

Consequently, Ndindayino told the young people living in his circumscription that hard working.

The one who cut off the robber’’s arm ran away and security bodies are in a constant search for him to bring him to justice.
