The incident happened in the Rwezamenyo Sector in Nyamirambo area. She is a seller in Matheus commerce center.
As the thieves started to strangle the lady, she shouted loud to attract neighbors but in vain.
She told the UM– USEKE reporter that the motorcyclist was an accomplice of the robbers as he stood nearby the scene where the robbers were strangling her.
The robbers wanted to take off her necklace worthy $2000 dollars but they did not manage to do so.
Many people affirm motorcyclists work with robbers who operate in different corners of the Kigali city.
The motorcyclist told the Police and witnesses that he was not in good position to intervene and rescue the woman.
The incident happened at nearby the Dialogue Street normally called 40 square but none did intervene to rescue her as she shouted for help.
Local people called the Police and took up the motorcyclist to the Police station in Nyamirambo, Nyarugenge district.
