Niyonzima Jean Claude from the PSD political party resigned, claiming that the political party he heads is not democratic and independent. He was the leader of the party in the Southern Province, in Nyanza.
Niyonzima told the Izuba Rirashe that the official letter to present his resignation has been submitted yesterday early in the morning.
Some of hindrances that pushed him to resign include a busy work in the party’s affairs that did not allow him to take care of his family.
It is useless to spend more of your energy in a political party that is not democratic and free, Niyonzima revealed to Izuba rirashe.
He had communicated his resignation to all concerned political organs including the Headquarters of the PSD, the Ministry of local government, and the Forum of political parties in Rwanda.
Dr Vincent Biruta who is the President of the PSD in Rwanda denies to have received the letter.
Niyonzima told Izuba rirashe that he will no longer be a political party member even though he supports the Ndi Umunyarwanda program. For him, it is the time to be a true Christian who cares about his family.
For him, if someone lives in a house that is weak, he escapes and goes to live in a stronger one.
Niyonzima headed the PSD in Nyanza for three years ago.
