P.Kagame appoints Col Ruhunga as the ‘Rwanda Investigation Bureau’ Head

As communicated by the Prime Minister Office, the President of the Republic Paul Kagame has appointed Col Jeannot Ruhunga as the CEO of the newly established Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB).

The Bureau mandated to investigate criminal issues that threaten national security and void them before their happening.

The communique also informs that the former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Justice Ms Isabelle Kalihangabo is appointed as the RIB Deputy Secretary General.

Rwanda’s Minister of justice Johnson Busingye recently told Senators that RIB will start operating in the near future.
