P Kagame urges educators to deliver the kind of education African youth deserves

As he was opening a high level conference on  education taking place in Rwanda bringing together different education sector practitioners from Africa President Kagame urged them create effective conditions for delivering the 21st century education that African youth deserves. President Kagame said that young Africans are ready, capable and willing to learn.

He said that human capital that Africa needs will be reached faster when boys and girls can make equal use of opportunities available.

“More efforts are needed to give technical education its right value so that it contributes to Africa’s transformation” he advised the audience.

For him modern technology presents us with unprecedented opportunities to overcome barriers to delivering information and skills.
