His Excellency Paul Kagame has appointed some of the Cabinet members to new responsibilities. Those include the new Minister of health Dr Diane Gashumba who, formerly, served as the Minister of family planning.She replaces Dr Agnes Binagwaho who served in the Ministry for five years long. President Kagame has also appointed the former EAC Affairs Minister Ambassador Rugwabiza Valentine as the current Rwandan Ambassador in United Nations.
She replaces Ambassador Gasana Eugene was has been deposed from his responsibilities recently.
Diane Gashumba has been replaced by Nyirasafari Esperance as the Minister in charge of family planning. The rest of cabinet members remained serving in their respective positions apart from the Minister of internal security Mussa Fazil Harerimana who is no longer serving in the Cabinet.
The current Minister of trade Francois Kanimba was given new responsibilities as he will be monitoring the EAC affairs, responsibilities that were formerly attributed to Amb Rugwabiza Valentine.
The current North Province is Musabyimana Claude replacing Bosenibamwe Aimé, the Western Province is currently under the management of Mureshyankwano Marie Rose who replaced Cartas Mukandasira while the Eastern Province is under the management of Kazayire Judith who replaced Uwamariya Odette.
Evode Uwizeyimana is appointed as the State Minister in the Ministry of Justice in charge of the protection of Constitution and related laws.
