The President Paul Kagame has arrived this Monday in Dakar, Senegal to attend the international science summit labeled The Next Einstein Forum that has to take place this Tuesday.
Worldly renowned scientists, politicians and economic actors will be present at the occasion to exchange the expertise on how science can be enhanced and be a tool to achieve sustainable development in Africa through technology.
President Kagame was welcomed by the Senegalese President Macky Sall.
700 Intellectuals and other science and technology minded people will be listening to the President Kagame’s speech today. Those people came from 80 countries across the world.
The Next Einstein Forum (NEF) was inaugurated by a science driven institution namely The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) and Robert Bosch Stiftung from Germany.
The AIMS aims at enabling young scientists and university students to increase their knowledge in Mathematics and learn further studies at the PhD level in the mathematical field.
The AIMS centres are located in South Africa, Ghana, Senegal, Cameroun and but its headquarters will be located in Rwanda.
The next 2018 NEF summit will be hosted in Rwanda.
