President Kagame arrived today in Khartoum for a two day State Visit and he was received by Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmed El Bashir. President Kagame began with bilateral talks with President El Bashir followed by a State Luncheon and Cultural Dinner held in his honour.
President Kagame will meet with President El Bashir for bilateral talks on the second day of the visit as well as tour the National Museum and Address students of the Africa International University.
The state visit will serve as an opportunity to build on Rwanda and Sudan’s relationship and strengthen cooperation in both the public and private sectors. Sudan recently appointed a new Ambassador to Rwanda, Mr. Abdalla Hassan Eisa Bushara.
President Kagame and President El Bashir will end the visit with a joint Press conference.
