In his two days official visit in Japan, President Paul Kagame and first Lady Jeannette Kagame paid a courtesy call to their Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan.
The visit aims at strengthening bilateral ties in different areas that include trade, technology, and education, among others.
The Rwandan delegation in Japan includes businessmen and other development partners with Japan.
It also includes Rwandan Minister of foreign affairs Dr Richard Sezibera.
Japan has been cooperating with Rwanda for many decades ago. Through its international cooperation agency, JIACA , Japan backs Rwanda in different infrastructural development electric power supply, IT equipment delivery, quality education improvement, among others.
Rwanda exports more commodities in Japan such as flowers.
