President Kagame says changes are meant to boost progress

President Kagame says that changes among cabinet members are meant to boost the current progress that Rwanda has undertaken. The Head of State said that as he was receiving the oaths of the recently appointed senior officials in an event held yesterday in the building of the Parliament.

President Kagame told the Assembly that Rwanda needs more actions than words to achieve its target

President Kagame said that cabinet reshuffle is a means of improving the pace at which things are progressing. President Kagame said that the purpose of these changes are to accelerate the development that Rwanda has achieved and needs to achieve in the future.

President Kagame said that people should not misinterpret the changes that are happening, claiming that these are signs of weaknesses from some officials.

The oaths were made by different officials including Minister of family promotion and gender namely Esperance Nyirasafari.

Other four State Ministers made their oaths, those include  Evode Uwizeyimana in charge of Constitution protection in the Ministry of Justice, Nsengiyumva Fulgence  appointed as the State Minister in the Ministry o Agriculture, Isaac Munyakazi appointed State Minister in the Ministry of education, and  Vincent Munyeshyaka appointed as the State Minister in the Ministry of local government in charge of citizen’s welfare.

Starting his speech President Kagame expressed his sorrow feelings about the death of Senator Jean de Dieu Mucyo who passed away Monday this week.

President Kagame qualified him as an exemplary worker who reserved nothing when it came at helping others in achieving various tasks.

Kagame reminded the officials that their oaths should be followed by the actions so to make it fruitful.

President Kagame reminded the officials that speed and precision in fulfilling one’s duties are of a paramount importance.

He stressed the usefulness of upholding and recognizing one’s skills as it encourages workers to achieve more.
