According to the provisional results,the RPF is the winner of the parliamentary elections with 76% as the landslide victory out of the yesterday’s parliamentary elections.
Prof Mbanda, the NEC president, said that these results are counted out of all results gathered from allover 18 districts and from the diaspora.
He added that out of 6,000000 Million of Rwandans registered to vote only over 4,000,000 people voted,representing 75% of all the registered.
RPF led coalition has 76% of results,being followed by PSD having 13% as results.
PL comes next with 9,4%,and lastly comes PS Imberakuri with 0,6% of votes.
Regarding private candidates,Mr Mwenedata Gilbert won with 0,4%, Bizirema Venuste got 0,4% of votes and Ganza Clovis has got 0,2 % and Mutuyimana Leonine has got 0,2% of votes.
Prof Kalisa Mbanda said that generally the elections took place in a peaceful and transparent ways.
He revealed that all results for each candidate and political party will be known today at evening hours.
