“Naples has finalized the recruitment of Spanish coach Rafael Benitez (former Chelsea manager) to replace Walter Mazzarri who joined the Inter Milan,” twitted The President of the Italian club, Aurelio De Laurentiis last Monday.
“Rafael Benitez is an experienced coach at an international level.” Aurelio De Laurentiis continued.
Italian media had announced that the arrival of Rafaeal in Naples during the first weeks qualified the squad for the Champions League.
According to the Spanish Press Benitez has signed a contract for two years, renewable once a year at an annual salary of around 3.5 million Euro.
