The Rwandan Defense forces and Rwanda National Police combine efforts and skills to keep Rwandans safe in all circumstances. In rainy season they keep honoring their duties the same way as during sunny seasons.
Security is the key ingredient in Rwandan social and economic progress. The above 25 years old Rwandans are well aware of the consequences of insecurity. This helps them understand more than others the importance of making peace and keeping it high.
Different statistics reported by different national and international bodies classify Rwanda among the best secured nations in Africa. A recently released report from Rwanda Governance Board says that Rwandans trust the RDF and RNP at 97,1%.
A 2016 report from The International Police Science Association (IPSA) labelled World Internal Security and Police Index ranks Rwanda the 50th best secured nation among 127 countries worldwide.
It ranks Rwanda the second secured African nation after Botswana that comes at 47th place in the world.
All Rwandans dwelling in Kigali and in other big cities are eyewitnesses of the devotion and love displayed by the Rwanda Defense Forces and Rwanda National Police in keeping the nation safe both day and night.
