Through her Twitter wall, Minister Louise Mushikiwabo wrote that RDF military equipment deployed in Rubavu does not mean that Rwanda invades DRC.
Responding to Al Jazeera journalist on whether Rwanda is soon to invade DRC, she said that it is not yet time to do so, adding that Rwanda will make it public if the decision to invade DRC will be taken’
However,yesterday heavy military equipment of RDF was deployed to Rubavu District to protect Rwandan territory and avoid more bombs and rockets from landing to Rwanda.
This came up after many bombs were fired to Rwanda allegedly from DRC and one of them killed a Rwandan Mother and seriously wounded her child.
Yesterday,a joint meeting was held at Kigali bringing together Minister Mushikiwabo Louise, Minister James Kabarebe of Defense and MONUSCO representative Mr Martin Kobel to discuss on the issue.
Today, the situation is calm at Gisenyi ,Rubavu.
