This was revealed by the preparation committee of the upcoming African Championship of Nations (CHAN) after it visited the newly innovated stadium of Rubavu set up to host some of the matches that will take place in Rwanda next year.
The committee leader De Gaulle Nzamwita lauded the efforts provided in the construction of the stadium that has the capable of hosting five thousand people.
The rest of work will be completed soon as workers keep increasing the efforts as to finish it in the due time.
The Stadium contains clean and wide dressing rooms, washing rooms and rest rooms.
The Mayor of Rubavu Jeremie Sinamenye told reporters the district management started sensitizing the population about the forthcoming CHAN games so that both traders and locals might be early prepared for the event.
One of the officials from Rwanda Housing Authority, Eric Serubibi deplored the fact that some tools to be put on the construction are still missing as they are to beĀ imported from abroad.
Some of these instruments include Video Screening Tables and lights to install at Huye and Rubavu stadiums.
He, however, assumed that they are expectations that the lacking tools will arrive in Kigali in two weeks ahead.
The CHAN2016 will start on January, 14, 2016 and will end on February, 7, 2016.
Matches will be held on Kigali, Rubavu and Huye stadiums.
