During a launch of a two-days long exhibition that started yesterday i n Bweramana Sector, Ruhango district, the Mayor of Ruhango district promised to build a decent house to a local needy family.
Mbabazi Francois Xavier, the Mayor of Ruhango district who presided the launching ceremony thanked his colleagues for their willingness and commitment to develop the district through the establishing of small and middle enterprises, among others.
Mayor Mbabazi lauded the contribution of central government in developing the nation. He promised to a elderly woman a decent house to live in.
The District promises a decent house to her and it will be completed as soon as possible, Mayor Mbabazi promised.
One of the people who attended the exhibition appreciated the developmental achievements that the district officials have achieved and so far including building a house to this needy woman.
Uwamahoro Christine the Executive Secretary of the Bweramana sector told UM– USEKE that the fact that many of the Ruhango district gathered in cooperatives has facilitated incomes generating activities among local to spread.
During the exhibition, willing local inhabitants provided to the Rwandans recently chased away from Tanzania with mattresses, food supplies among other goods to help them adopt the new living styles.
