Ruhango: Dwellers of the Gitwe sector are rejoicing due to water infrastructures available

Residents of the Gitwe sector in Ruhango district lauded the efforts made by officials in providing them with clean water as they have been waiting for it for so long.

Mayor Mbabazi inaugurating the infrastructure

Normally locals used to fetch water from neighboring water pit that wasn’t not clean enough to sustain people’s lives.

The water volume was not sufficient to locals, school and hospital that need it for daily activities.

The Mayor of the Ruhango district Francois Xavier Mbabazi who inaugurated those infrastructures urged locals to care for this new infrastructure as to make more benefiting to them and the generations to come.

The infrastructure cost around 120 million Rwf to WASAC Corporation that built it in Gitwe sector.

The length of the installation of the new infrastructure is about ten kilometers.
