Rwanda Air Launches Juba Flights Next Week

Rwandair will start tri-weekly flights to Juba International Airport in South Sudan on September 21, according to John Mirenge, the airline’s chief executive officer.

The airline will fly the Bombardier CRJ 900NG aircraft bought in November last year to Juba every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, according to Robert Nsinga the airline’s head of corporate communications.

The airline operates regional flights to Nairobi and Mombasa in Kenya, Entebbe in Uganda, Bujumbura-Burundi, as well as Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

The airline also serves Johannesburg, Dubai, Lagos, Accra, Libreville and Brazzaville. Douala in Cameroon and Abidjan in Ivory Coast are also planned for 2013. September 9, 2013 ·
