Rwanda hosts not less than 70 thousand refugees from neighboring Burundi and DRC. Min Mukantabana promised the refugees that Rwanda will provide them with all needed facilities for their well being such as hospitals, schools, among others.

She said that the children living with their mothers should attend schools as well as other Rwandan children do.

Refugee children should not be hampered from attending schools, she added.

The reprsentative of the HCR in Rwanda, Azam Saber thanked the contribution that Rwandan has made to help in upgrading the living conditions of the refugees.

At his side, he also reminded them(refugees) that future will be bright as they will be going back home in the near future.

Some refugeesĀ  urge the authorities to help them in conducting business related activities such as trade as to help them improve their livelihoods.

The UN based refugee body informs that the world knows not less than 65.3 million refugees whose living conditions are deplorable.
