Rwanda National Police inaugurates a South Province Headquarters

Yesterday the Ministry of internal security and Rwanda Natonal Police have inaugurated its headquarters in the South Province as to help residents acquire security related services quicker and effectively.

Minister Mussa Fazil Harerimana said that this initiative intends to equip each Province with a RNP.

The Minister of internal security added that this complex will help in providing better services such as jailing suspects in cleaner and spacious rooms.

The cleanliness of the complex is another added value that will be increasing the productivity, he added.

The RNP South Province Headquarters is located in Ngoma Sector, Huye District, South Province.

According to the officials, the facility will be providing improved services such as Gender Based Violence prevention, human trafficking crimes prevention departments, among others.

The Spokesperson of the RNP,  ACP Celestin Twahirwa added that different headquarters have been built in different province and Kigali city.

These include Musanze( Northern Province), Rwamagana( Eastern Province), Rubavu( Western Province) and Remera ( Kigali City).

The Huye Police Headquarters complex is worth 600 million Rwandan Francs.
