Some Kigali road users have expressed their sadness about the fact that some roads were closed for use as to maximize the security of the Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu.
They are fearful that the same would happen as many Heads of States of African countries will be coming to Kigali to attend the African Union Summit in the coming few days.
Some of Kigali roads will be closed as to regulate the traffic in Kigali and avoid chaos but road users will be informed early, the Spokesperson of the RNP Spt JMV Ndushabandi told Umuseke.rw.
Spt Ndushabandi said that closing one road or another could happen due to a given tangible reasons but declined to mention such roads that will be closed.
The spokesperson of RNP Spt Ndushabandi said maintaining road safety for the AU Summit participants benefits to all Rwandans and, therefore, everyone should respect elaborated instructions from the Traffic Police.
The 27 A U Summit to be held in Kigali will bring together over 3000 people from all African countries with their friends from the world.
