According to the Ookla Speedtest report released yesterday, Rwanda ranks number two among African countries that have highly speeding internet after Madagascar that ranks number one. The ranking process has taken into account the internet use in the past 30 days allover the world.
The rate of the use of the internet assessed the speed of the internet downloads compared to the distance between the internet server and the users. This speech is calculated into Megabits per second.
In Africa, Madagascar comes first with the internet speed of 11.53Mbps, followed by Rwanda with 7.65Mbps, Namibia with 7.56 Mbps, Kenya with 6.63Mbps, Ghana with 5.57Mbps and Libya with 5.38Mbps.
The report shows that Hong Kong ranks number in the world, followed by the Singapore. USA is ranked 33 among the most speeding internet facilities.
