After that the Belgium Minister of Foreign Affairs proposes that Rwanda should negotiate with FDLR rebels if it wants peace to be restored,Ambassodor Masozera of Rwanda in Belgium says that this cannot happen.
“Rwanda cannot negotiate with FDLR”Masozera said.
Belgian Minister Didier Reynders in charge of Foreign Affairs told journalisits that for the region to be safe, governments should initiate peace talks with rebels operating in the region .
In a commnuniqué,Rwandan embassy in Belgium refuted the Belgium view but rather it supports the idea of Mr Francois Xavier de Donnae ,the President of the Belgian Cooperation Commission who calls upon the international community to dismantle the FDLR rebels .
For the Rwandan Embassy,Rwanda will never hold talks of any kind with a negative and destructive forcew such as FDLR
The communiqué ends by asking why the Western world does not have talks with terrorist groups but ,surprisingly urges Rwanda to do so.
