Gako-276 students from different schools across the world gather at Gako to undergo training in different subjects such as the Civil Education,History and the way forward in political life of Rwanda.
This Itorero school started in July 28,2013 and will last two weeks ahead bringing Rwandan studenst coming from across the world.
Different senior officials in the Rwandan political and security entities attended the launching ceremony. They include the Minister of Youth and Technology, Mr Jean Philibert Nsengiyumva,Chief of Defense Staff Gen Nyamvumba Patrick, ICP Gasana,The National Itorero School Manager Hon Rucagu Boniface with the Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among other guests.
Joana Gakwaya told Umuseke that she learnt a lot during two days she spent there
“I will bring more knowledge and insights in Canada where I study to help my colleagues understand the reality happening in Rwanda” Joanna Gakwaya told Umuseke.
Rucagu Boniface the Chairperson of the Itorero urged the students that Rwanda comes first in all what they do and in everywhere.
Remember that you come here to learn more about Rwandan cultural values and you are the ones to teach them to your colleagues once back in your respective universities’
The Minister of Youth and Technology Hon Jean Philibert Nsengiyumva told the youth that he himself underwent the Ingando in Itorero where he led others due to the values he learnt from there.
“One’s clear definition of future is the key for success in life. Life is made up with steps and phases. So it is about you to make them successful added” Minister Nsengiyumva.
All students are 276(204 males and 72 girls).All the officials who delivered speeches reminded them that the love of their nation, commitment and self-esteem are among the most important values to be equipped with.
