Rwanda’s ex-security minister tipped for top EAC job

Bazivamo Christopher who is currently acting as one of th EAC parliament members representing Rwanda is predicted to be selected as the Vice executive secretary of  the EAC body.

Rwanda is the country to provide the vice executive secretary of this body as its  executive secretary is the Burundian Mpfumukeko Liberat who leads the organization.

Once approved Bazivamo Christopher will be sworn in by the Tanzanian President Dr Joseph Pombe Magufuli who is the Chair person of the EAC as whole.

The former Rwandan minister of internal security is one of the vocal legislators advocating for the removal of trade barriers between state members.
