The high court in Kigali has rejected to appeal of Diane Rwigara and her mother to get the suspension of the provisional imprisonment for 30 days. The court decided that both are meant to remain jail before the open court sessions start in the coming days.
The side of the co-accused underlined the fact that mother Mukangemanyi is sick and endures severe living conditions in a prison as sick.
The today’s session started around 3h30 PM.
The Nyarugenge court has also rejected their appeal before they brought it to the high court.
Diane Rwigara is accused of having forged fake papers to present to the National electoral commission as to run for this year’ ended Presidential elections.
She shares allegations with Anne and her mother Adeline Mukangemanyi of having incited the general public against the ruling order.
Adeline Mukangemanyi Rwigara faces specific case of mobilizing people against the leading government.
